Data loss after question type change

Hi,
I started a questionnaire on unipark in July but had to change the question type 2 weeks later (from multiple choice to single choice). Now, I relazied that the data collected before the change is not available anymore (the answers are coded as “0”, which is not an option due to the code book).
Can anybody help me with some advise please?
