    Hi all,

Is there a possibility to programme a ranking question such that once a participant deselects an option, the other options will be reranked automatically and the participant can go on with the survey? I could not find that and it confused with some test participants.

    E.g.
For the question: rank up to a maximum of 3 of your favourite fruits with 1 being the most favourite and 3 being the least favourite.
    With those options:

    – Banana
    – Pear
    -Apple
    -Plum
    -Strawberry
    -Melon

If a person now chooses 1 Banana, 2 Plum and 3 Melon and then changes their mind about plums and deselects them and only wants to keep the two answer options banana 1 and melon 2 that melon automatically will be reranked as 2 once plum is deselected and that participant can go on with the next question

So far the participant then needed to exactly choose the same number of options as specified first and always exchange the same rank with another option.

    All the best,
    Carlo
