Zufallstrigger über 2 Seiten hinweg möglich?

Hello to the community,

I am currently sitting on the questionnaire for my master’s thesis and am facing a hurdle that I have not been able to overcome with the help of my previous research.

In my 2×2 research design, I have 4 combinations and would need 25 people in each of these 4 combination groups. I have figured out how to get a random distribution of the two expressions within one page (i.e. for one UV of my study) (using a random trigger). However, this does not include the second page for the second UV. If I now do the same for the second UV with the random trigger, then it could be that in the worst case scenario 5 persons have one of the 4 possible combinations and 5 have another of the 4 possible combinations (or also less blatant distributions). But I would need the same number of subjects for each of the 4 combinations.

Specifically: Both of my UV’s are writing tasks with 2 different specifications each. e.g. writing task 1 has the tasks A and B, writing task 2 has the tasks Y and Z. So 25 persons should first get writing task A and then Y, 25 persons first get A and then Z, 25 persons first get B and then Y and 25 persons first get B and then Z to work on. There are a few questions between the two writing tasks that need to be answered.

Does anyone here know of a way to make something like this work?

Ich mache das wirklich nicht gern (ich hasse Links mit dem Inhalt: “wirf einen Blick ins Handbuch”), aber das Thema ist umfangreich und es gibt verschiedene Lösungen. Hier findest du das alte, wirklich gute Handbuch mit Stand 2016, dort wurde es von der wirklich nicht so guten Onlinevariante abgelöst, die ich danach verlinke.

Das Stichwort ist Quote. Ist lange her, aber grundlegend legst du vier Quoten mit einem Füllstand von 25 Teilnehmern fest, wählst die Verteilungsart (erste Quote muss vollständig sein bevor die nächste Quote vermittelt wird oder Gleichverteilung – ich glaube es gab auch noch andere Optionen) und das System weist den Teilnehmern die Quotennummer zu. Diese Quotennummer kannst du dann als Filterbedingung verwenden und darunter so viele Seiten packen wie du möchtest.

Bei Quoten ist es immer ratsam, nachdem diese erstellt sind, eine Simulation (Test und Validierung > Projekttest > Testdaten erzeugen) laufen zu lassen. Stell sie in deinem Fall auf 100 Teilnehmer, wenn du alles richtig gemacht hast, sollten dann 25 TN in jeder Quote landen.
